Collection of urine volume larger than 20-30mL of initial urine stream may result in specimen dilution that may reduce test sensitivity. DO NOT OVERFILL.
A negative result does not preclude the presence of a C. trachomatis or N. gonorrhoeae infection because results are dependent on adequate specimen collection, absence of inhibitors, and sufficient rRNA to be detected.
Test cannot be performed on patients <14 years of age.
